If your system told you directly “this app cannot be opened”, then it is your macOS's problem because that means there is nothing wrong with this app but your system just refuse to give permission to open it. There is nothing I can do from my end to help you, please google for solutions.
But if it told you something different rather than ‘it cannot be opened’, please let me know, thank you very much.

So, please if you are using Re'npy software to develop your game & planning to release your latest update, then please first downgrade your software to version 7.3.5 and then release it. Also note that if you are going to release the upgrades to your game using the new software and if an individual downloads & installs it, the game will not only not work but your old saved games won't work either. So before releasing it you need downgrade the software to version 7.3.5 and then release. I had to reset my phone and lose my saves from all the games that were installed in my phone just so that we could come up with this conclusion of mine. I wouldn't want any other patron or other players to go through the same process. I'd request you to explain this situation to the Re'npy developers team and get this sorted out.
Note: This is my experience purely based on Android phone with Android version 11. I cannot vouch for any other software or OS. Thank you for hearing me out.

I know that some users of certain Android devices would have this problem, like Pixel 4 or 5. I hope Renpy can fix it soon. But the save-ruin thing sounds like a totally different issue and it may be something I can fix from my end. Could you please tell me more about this issue? Like, what makes you think your saves are ruined? Do you receive an error report when loading a save in an old version game? Or did the save files just... eh... disappear somehow?

And about the saves being ruined.... Ok I'll try to explain it to you with an example:
1. Let's just say I had v9 of VIRTUES installed and i completed all scenes in that version and saved.
2. Now I downloaded and installed V10c which you initially released and like I said in my earlier comment, there is no response after the opening page.... No matter where I touch on the screen....
3. Now after fixing a few bugs you release v10d, and again I downloaded and installed the latest version on top of the previously installed v0c. I open the game, the screen goes black and nothing happens for however long you wait. And then you grow impatient and you either uninstall and reinstall the damn thing and all your saves is gone and you have to start the game over or you try to just erase the data in the settings and try to restart the game and then the problem I mentioned on my 2nd point starts again.
And also, like rubbing salt to the wound, you have an option to save your files to some other folder before uninstalling the game or erasing the data, but even if you save it to another folder, there in no way for you to restore it back to the data folder, because it's not allowed by Android 11. It really is a huge pain in the rear...

Sorry for the late reply. If you have already updated your mac system to the latest version and still have this issue, then it should be a classic bug of Renpy engine itself. There is nothing I can do from my end for now. Some people have told me that Renpy just released an update weeks ago that solved this bug. I will update the version of Renpy engine we use in v11, I hope by that time your issue can be resolved.

This is a really good game, I've enjoyed the dialogue. Very well handcrafted words but I did have an issue with how you executed Theodora's part. Felt like it was too much.(More of a personal preference) This is the kind of game I would play multiple times just for the Monogamy endings, then work on the marrying two partners and lastly the harem ending.
I also hope for more interactions between the ladies such as a bit more on the ones visiting your house. Thank you for your hard work.
If you want a simulator that helps you for the first prologue, then takes out a stick and whips you to a coma, this is the game for you. Not your typical Visual novel dating sim, this is the kind of game where you can decide to be virtous when you get the option or just casually be a jerk.
Update, I've finished all storylines. and I HAVE TO SAY. THIS HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL THAT IT MAKES ME SMILE AND I LOVE THE INTERACTIONS THIS IS WHOLESOME BY ADULT GAME STANDARDS AND THE CHOICES ACTUALLY MAKE ME FEEL A LOT OF FEELINGS> DAMN!

that's a false positive. Renpy 7.4's bug, just ignore it.

I downloaded the VIRTUES-v10c-pc.zip file and got a warning that Virtues-32.exe was infected with Trojan:Win32/Ymacco.AAE3.
Other sites are calling the infection by other names, but you can see by the file path that the v10 file has the infection.
